Day by Day Itinerary
Arrival
Your Tanzanian adventure begins the moment you land. Our team will meet you at the airport and transfer you comfortably to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an optional guided tour of Arusha city, a vibrant gateway to the northern circuit. In the evening, your guide will brief you on the exciting days ahead.
Tarangire National Park
Early morning departure from Arusha for the two-hour drive to one of Tanzania's most underrated gems, Tarangire National Park. Famous for its ancient, cathedral-like baobab trees and the country's densest elephant population, Tarangire offers truly intimate wildlife encounters. Watch in awe as elephant families move across the landscape in their hundreds. Your guide will track live animal sightings throughout the day, searching for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and vast herds of giraffe, wildebeest, and zebra. Enjoy a scenic bush picnic lunch at the riverside site keep a watchful eye on your plate, as the resident monkeys and baboons are known opportunists! The game drive continues into the late afternoon before we head to tonight's lodge in the Ngorongoro highlands.
