Day by Day Itinerary
Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Your Safari Tanzania representative will meet you at the Airport and transfer you directly to your lodge/hotel in Arusha. After checking in, take the rest of the day to relax and recover from your travels or experience an optional city tour and night life. Your guide will provide a full safari briefing covering what to expect over the next four days. Get a good night's rest tonight as your adventure begins early tomorrow morning.
Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast, depart Arusha and drive south to Tarangire National Park, famous for its enormous elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full day of game drives through diverse habitats including riverine woodland, open savannah, and seasonal swamps. Tarangire is one of Tanzania's best-kept secrets and offers exceptional wildlife density during the dry season. Keep your eyes open for lions, leopards, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, and over 500 bird species. Your chef will prepare a delicious bush picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon drive. Late afternoon transfer to your lodge/tented camp for dinner and overnight.
